Accelerating The Digital Transition in Health 

The event Accelerating the Digital Transition in Health in the North-East Region aims to intensify collaboration between hospital managers, medical universities, researchers, representatives of the healthcare industry, and public authorities, in order to identify, develop and implement innovative solutions to optimize the national healthcare system.

During the two days event, plenary sessions will be organized on the digitalization of the health system, presentations of good practices at the European level, but also participatory workshops according to the methodological model "Innovation Camp" proposed by the JRC, in order to identify the possibilities of ensuring interoperability of medical data at regional, national and European level in line with the objectives of the European Health Data Space. An important part of the program will be dedicated to the presentation of innovative technical solutions for the digitalization of the healthcare system.

Day 1 – 9 June 2022

10.00 – 11.30 Opening session panel: How to accelerate digital health advancements from various perspectives: regional, national, European, academic, healthcare provider

11.30 – 12.30 Digital health trends. Presentation of best practices.

13.45 – 15.00 Tools to accelerate access to digital health technologies

15.30 – 17.00 The role of AI in medical diagnostics


Day 2 – 10 June 2022

10.00 – 10.30 Presentation of funding opportunities for the uptake of digital health solutions

10.30 – 13.00 Interoperability of the medical data at regional, national and European levels

Innovation Camp - challenge-based discussions between hospital managers, digital innovation hubs, medical specialists, representatives of the healthcare industry and public authorities
